NIFA Starts in Island League
I have a confirmed ladies team and it has been a long process between the island , Vancouver metro the two largest women's leagues in canada , bc soccer and the bc public office to agree on a start up for a season to commence . the safety and health of everyone has been the priority . as you will find out very soon , the planning and our games will be a little different for all of us.....but i know to play again is on our minds. anyways i have created safety rules that are required for the team which every team must follow , no throw ins but kick in for example....i have the simple rules of safety for each. a few of you can t make tonight injuries , work etc....and some receiving this email info the 1st time. you are welcome to come and play with a first nations team....and your all good footballers. my goal and your goal is to enjoy the game of soccer , have fun and stay safe through the season. registration fees etc. info is coming for everyone. tonight Thursday we are at 745 at the chesterfield sport plex in Duncan under the lights and all games will be at the Shawinigan Lake school turf fields each Sunday 10 am. turf shoes or short studs are the best. thank you for your attention ladies. and Bill. cheers

This group is about the NIFA select soccer teams & players and coaches from Vancouver Island ,t Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley,Northern BC , Interior youth teams and players and communities from across the great plains and into Mohawk communities that support the initiatives of the NIFA Soccer Society at all levels ! We keep this site to share information with everyone that is associated with our youth teams and their aspirations to pursue excellence through soccer. We promote & support opportunity for your youth in the sport of Soccer. We are a member of BC Soccer and Partners with Soccer Canada and World Indigenous Games and a lead promoter of Football globally Our trips are supported by our Soccer Partners and our communities and would like all people to work with NIFA if they so choose. We travel together seeing our youth and children live their dreams. These trips build self esteem and directs youth on their soccer journey. at NIFA we support bridges and a healthy pathway for the future for our soccer players - together -with great respect and working together - Dream on , Osiem !
